About Me:
Hello!! My name is Mae McClain, and I’m a senior in the College of Public Health at the University of Georgia, majoring in Health Promotion and Behavior. Throughout my time at UGA, I’ve developed a deep rooted passion for pediatric acute care in underserved areas. I am excited to pursue a career as a pediatric acute care nurse practitioner in disadvantaged communities. I am passionate that all individuals deserve quality care, despite their circumstances. Pursuing a MN will prepare me with the skills to address these disparities effectively, allowing me to offer quality care to underserved populations
As I aspire to obtain my MN, I am driven to become a compassionate nurse who supports patients physically and emotionally. I envision myself contributing to the nursing profession by advocating for equal healthcare access and serving communities that need it most.
Thank you for visiting my e-portfolio! I look forward to continuing my journey in public health and nursing!
